Introduction to global education

The Introduction to global education professional learning module (PLM) introduces global education and how it can enable young people to participate in shaping a better, shared future for the world. It examines ways in which global perspectives can be integrated within and across learning areas and encourages participants to reflect on ways they can develop their students' knowledge and understanding of world issues.

Primary

The Primary PLM introduces primary teachers to the ways in which global education perspectives can be integrated into the Australian Curriculum learning areas of English, mathematics, science and history. It expands on the Introduction to global education PLM.

Secondary

The Secondary PLM introduces secondary teachers to the ways in which global education perspectives can be integrated into the Australian Curriculum learning areas of English, mathematics, science and history. It expands on the Introduction to global education PLM.

Professional Learning

The Global Learning Centre in Brisbane and the One World Centre in Perth offer professional learning for teachers.

The Geography Teachers' Association of Victoria and the Professional Teachers' Council NSW may also be able to assist teachers.
